AT YOUR PACE, ENTIRELY

Healing from childhood sexual abuse

You do not have to describe what happened. Not in the first session, not in the tenth, not ever if you don't want to. I want to say that before anything else, because it stops a great many people from ever making the call.

Why you don't have to narrate it

EMDR requires far less telling than people assume. Flash Technique requires almost none — you keep your attention somewhere pleasant while the material processes in the background. For this work specifically, that matters enormously.

Going slowly is the method, not a delay

We build steadiness first, with attachment-focused work and Resource Tapping, and we keep returning to it. Nothing here requires you to be brave or to push through. If it's too much, we stop — that's not failure, it's the work being done properly.

What people come for

Not usually to talk about the past. Usually because it's still shaping the present: relationships, the body, a sense of safety, a voice that says something untrue and says it in your own accent.

Fit

You're welcome here if

  • You've never told anyone
  • You've told people and it didn't help
  • You're not sure it "counts"
  • You want to work on the effects without revisiting the events
  • You've tried therapy and it went too fast
If you're in immediate danger or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911. This page is not emergency care.
