Online trauma therapy in Texas
I'm licensed to practice in Texas and I see Texas clients by video. To be clear from the start: I don't have an office in Texas — my practice is in Albany, California, and all Texas work is telehealth.
Who this is for
Texans who want EMDR, Flash Technique, EFT or Brainspotting from a clinician who's been doing this for 27 years. Particularly useful if you're outside a major metro, or if the specific method you want is hard to find locally.
What telehealth actually changes
Less than people expect. Bilateral stimulation works over video — eye movements, self-administered tapping, audio. Brainspotting translates well because the work is internal.
What it does change: you're in your own space, which many people find helps, and there's no drive on either end of a session that has stirred things up.
The practical part
Texas LMFT #205480. You need to be physically located in Texas at the time of session — that's a licensing requirement, not a preference. $225 for 50 minutes, self-pay with superbills. Free 15-minute consultation.
Fifteen minutes, no pressure.
